凡具有英国T4学生签证，以及T2 General签证的博士后研究员，都有资格在英国境内申请T1毕业生企业家签证。首次申请成功可获得12个月签证，签证到期后需要担保人审核，申请人的项目已在过去一年取得了相应的进展或成绩，并且担保人仍然愿意继续担保并支持该项目的话，申请者可以申请续签。
